It started with two dogs who couldn’t be more different. Paisley — sassy, stubborn, independent as hell, but secretly clingy and attached. Goose — the wannabe street dog with zero street smarts, living like he owns the block while diving headfirst into chaos. Together, they made it clear: walking dogs isn’t always pretty.

Walking them both at once? A full-time hustle. That’s where the idea for The Barkside came to life — gear that frees up your hands, carries what you need, and keeps up with the mess, grit, and wild pack energy of real life.

We started with one hero product: the hands-free leash. Built for people who need function first but refuse to compromise on attitude. Unapologetic stickers, street-ready sweatshirts, and more gear shaped by reckless loyalty and street-born chaos.
